The UMBC Political Science Department is a group you might not think of when you think of UMBC. However, this department is quickly becoming a power house as far as political science goes and in order to let students know about the wide ranging opportunities they offer, we put together an overview video of the department. Coming soon are videos highlighting and digging deeper on topics like Mock Trial, Moot Court, Internship opportunities and Alumni testimonials.
36 Hours in Kitsbow: Our First Century
We got to work with a great cycling apparel company, Kitsbow, to produce a short film about a 36 hour adventure on two wheels. After fighting weather, schedules and injuries we had a small window before the deadline but we are super happy with how it came out. We worked with Kitsbow and several other cycling brands including Race Pace Bicycles, Nittany Mountain works and one of our favorite bands, Mojo Bozo’s.
The New IPA
Acclaimed home brew expert turned brewery co-founder, Scott Janish, just added something else to his CV…author.
Scott has written the definitive book on brewing the New IPA and he needed help spreading the word. We produced this overview video as well as several shorter teaser videos that he’s used on social media to pump up the book and get people interested.
Maryland Brewers Association
The Maryland Brewers Association was doing a big push to help draw attention to the legislative issues facing the Maryland craft brewers. A tight deadline and an unclear objective, we set out to film as much as we could to put something together for social media, helping spread awareness to consumers. After uploading to their Facebook page the video was seen over eleven thousand times in three weeks!
Maryland Interscholastic Cycling League
The inaugural season of MICL was near the end. With one race left, we were brought on to help capture some of the magic of the first year of Maryland having their own National Interscholastic Cycling Association chapter. We interviewed coaches, riders, league officials and even the head of NICA who came to town to witness the success of year one, first hand.
Knowing we only had one day to capture everything we needed for the video was a tall order. The folks at MICL were motivated, organized and worked their tails off to make sure we had everything we needed, as well as putting on a first class event. Season 2 can’t come soon enough!
Our client faced a problem: They wanted to make a quick, down and dirty video about the Armour Grid technology in their football jerseys in time for the big sales rally. The video was intended to play before an audience of Under Amour employees to get them excited about what this technology could mean for their football clients.
Comcast Campaign: Welcome Back
The Welcome Back campaign was a huge, multi-state testimonial campaign centering on people who have left Comcast for Fios or Dish and came back to Comcast.
Shot on the Red One in model homes and Comcast offices across the Mid-Atlantic, these spots had a budget over a million dollars with lots of moving parts.

Johns Hopkins Medicine International Patient Story: Luis Moreno
This video was produced for Johns Hopkins Medicine International and it features the wonderfully charismatic Dr. Alfredo Quiñones. We profiled Luis Moreno’s family in their search for a cure with the help of Dr. Q and Johns Hopkins.
This video is a great example of our ability to travel abroad and deliver impactful videos in languages other than English.
Comcast Campaign: Cal’s Ride Along
This campaign for Comcast was a lot of fun to produce. It stars Hall of Fame baseball player Cal Ripken Jr. and we shot over two days in Baltimore County, Maryland. We shot on 35mm film with a great union crew and took color correction up to NFL Films Studios in New Jersey.
